Happy Rapids Moving was founded by two best friends, Chris and Jordan, who first met in 2015 while working at a fast food company in Utah. Sharing a passion for helping people and a love for the outdoors, they dreamed of building something meaningful together—something that blended hard work, heart, and adventure. Jordan and Chris ended up working for a Moving company, learning and seeing the joy of helping customers move into their new homes!

When Jordan moved to Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Chris stayed in Utah, their friendship didn’t fade. Instead, it fueled a bigger vision. Inspired by the excitement of new beginnings and the joy on customers' faces during move-in day, they created Happy Rapids Moving—a company rooted in care, trust, and the thrill of fresh starts.

Just like nature’s rapids, moving can be a wild ride—but with Happy Rapids, it's a ride you can enjoy. Starting in South Carolina, then expanding to North Carolina, and now proudly operating in their home state of Utah, Chris and Jordan have built more than a business—they’ve built a moving family.

Despite being over two thousand miles apart, their bond remains strong, and their vision continues to grow. With branches on both sides of the country, the goal is simple: to bring the Happy Rapids experience to all 50 states—helping customers move forward with confidence, care, and a sense of adventure.
